An Evening Under the Sea - 2013 Gala

Our HTH Village Gala will be held on Friday, May 17^th, 2013 starting at 6:00 pm until 11:30 pm! The event will be held at the NTC Promenade. This year's theme is "An Evening Under the Sea".

This is a fun evening where friends of HTH can socialize while enjoying wonderful food, entertainment and silent/live auctions. Please join us under the sea!

MEETINGS / WORK PARTIES

• The gala is coordinated each year by the efforts of many dedicated parent-volunteers.

• Volunteering for the gala is FUN and satisfying and there is a job for every parent’s schedule or skills! Just show up to one of our planning meetings or contact our chair, Christie Gowdy at clgowdy@gmail.com if you would like to help.

• Planning meetings are typically held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the Conference room at HTH from 9-10:30 am and are scheduled for the following dates: 1/22, 2/26, 3/19, 4/23, 5/7. As the event quickly approaches, additional meetings and work parties (painting, invitations, baskets) will be planned.

Did you know? ...

• This is an annual event, held in the spring that benefits each of the 5 schools in the HTH Point Loma village

• Over $100,000 in much-needed funds is raised every year and this money goes directly to each of the schools

• Many of the computers that your students use each day were funded by this event

The Gala  raises money for the 5 Point Loma Schools - HTH, HTHI, HTHMA, HTM, and HTMMA.

General Meeting Information:

• Third Tuesday of each month – in the HTH Conference Room.
• Please come at 9:00 am. Meetings will last until around 10:30 am.
• Lots of things to help with on an on-going basis and also right before the event.
  It’s not all work.
• Working on the gala is a great way to get involved and meet other parents

Junior Theater Warehouse Workshop

Help create the props for the HTH Village Gala. Make seaweed, cut material, build the sunken ship, and more...  Great way to meet other members of our HTH Family.

From HTH take Lytton (turn right at Arco Station) which turns into Barnett to 5 South.
Get off at Pershing Drive and follow the Pershing Drive signs.
Turn Right at the light and then take an immediate Right on a dirt road.
